Stainless steel machine elements have to withstand many elements. Heat, pressure, seawater, liquid and gaseous media such as cleaning agents and other chemicals. Linear systems made of stainless steel 1.4571 and 1.4301 are particularly resistant and are used in environments with particularly extreme conditions.
